...Majlis Sambutan Hari Raya Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah 1432H/2011M...

Saturday, 10^th September 2011 - My recent post has mentioned that I have received an invitation from Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Foundation) to a Hari Raya gathering at the International Conference Center in Jalan Berakas. This is my second invitation. The first time was in 2008. Well, if I were still in Yayasan; I would attend it almost every year. But the feeling of being an attendee than one of the staff makes me miss the good old time. I guess time goes by so fast. Anyway, just read on to view the rest of my coverage.

It is good to see old friends there. I met a couple of my former colleague and there are certainly new faces. I also met with one of my young uncle, Latiff and another former colleague from TAIB, Shahdir. So along the function, I had tag along with him.

The function ended a bit late until the midday. This is due to the long line that we had to take for the souvenir. A lot of people complaint of the lack of proper management. But I am not complaining the main event organizer. It was because of the non-strategic location. It was quite jam pack. I was annoyed by one of the attendee when he knocks my head (incidentally I presumed) by his mobile phone occasionally. If I was the non-patience type, I would just leave the whole thing behind. But as you can see on my previous post, it was quite worth it to wait. I still blame the Istana people for not having a proper strategic location to distribute the souvenir.
