...Hari Raya 1432 Hijrah - Family Gathering...

Wednesday, 31^st August 2011 - It has been a long time since I have updated my blog. There are not much recent activity lately except that I have been busy during the Ramadhan period. My fiancee went back to her home town in Kota Kinabalu and I really miss her dearly. Back at work, everything was already Hari Raya mode. Malaysia celebrate their Hari Raya yesterday and Indonesia is celebrating today as with Brunei Darussalam. Not much to say about Hari Raya but it was rather OK for me this year. This morning, we went to my uncle's house in Kampong Perpindahan Lambak Kanan. For the first time ever, all our cousins gather with us in this festive season.

Alhamdulillah. We never had this kind of gathering except for during a formal function only. I really miss the old time where we would gather in our late grandfather's house in Kampong Burung Pingai Air. In life, we have been through a lot. Whether good times and bad times; but as long as we stand tall as a family, we will never go down that easily. As the Malay proverb would say "Bersatu kita teguh, bercerai kita roboh".
